Move the transcodes to a local Avid MediaFiles drive and when you go back in avid it will scan your databases again and relink the files to your local drive. A bin window will pop up with all your media, bring it into another bin and then go to the transfer drive and offline the footage by changing the folder name. Open avid and bring up the media tool then select the drive and project and the types of files, for this you would just need master clips, and hit ok.
